A beautiful dress and cutom made to my specifications. Well done! The black lining feels like silk. It could have been even better if silk with the same colour as the pipings were used for the lining. This remind me of the jacket I orderd last year from Eaststore, the Gracious Silk Velvet Jacket. The jackets was lined with a high quality silk with the same colour as the Germany

I really like this dress. I wanted something red for my tea ceremony and this is suitable because I can kneel down in it. I ordered a custom dress and it fits perfectly. The history of the use of metallic threads in textile embellishment goes back thousands of years to Dynastic Egypt, and has continued into the present day. “Goldwork”, or metal thread embroidery, was at its highest point of popularity in Western Europe during the SCA’s period.

Mandarin collar.
Invisible back center zipper.
